Are you creating a:

This is known as ‘usage’ in the voiceover world and it can include things like;

• Paid or ‘promoted’ commercials, adverts & social content on the internet.

• ‘Broadcast’ usage in TV, Radio & film.

• Streaming platforms or ‘OTT’ usage like Netflix, Amazon Prime & Disney+

• Dialogue & character acting for video games / audio-dramas.

• Organic web usage (i.e. non-paid / not promoted) like hosting videos on your website or YouTube channel.

• Public facing corporate usage like a brand video or museum audio guide.

• Internal corporate usage like eLearning content on a company’s intranet.

Usage is often time-limited too, e.g. 'one year's usage' and different lengths of usage command different rates.
